Quality
Quality as a traceable process.
Quality develops through sound preparation, clear technical requirements and checks throughout construction.
01
From requirements to construction
Understanding the technical scope, clarifying applicable requirements and ensuring that teams work from consistent information are essential starting points. Material selection, methods, sequencing and inspection criteria should be planned as a coherent whole.
Material conformity should be assessed together with transport, storage and use, not only on delivery. Measurement at appropriate stages, organised sampling and inspection records, and comparison of completed work with defined requirements form part of a consistent approach to quality.
02
Correction and continual improvement
Identifying non-conformities should first aim to understand their causes. A correction must be checked for effectiveness, and lessons should help prevent recurrence. Site experience should feed into the planning of subsequent work.
Resource efficiency is linked to using suitable materials in the right place, reducing rework and considering maintenance needs. We aim to treat quality as a process followed from preparation to completed work, rather than an outcome assessed only at handover.
