Social Responsibility
Beyond structures, a shared environment.
Infrastructure and buildings become part of everyday life in the places where they are built. Social responsibility begins with understanding that relationship.
01
Respectful relationships with local communities
Construction can affect local access, daily routines and the use of public space. Our approach is to anticipate these effects, communicate clearly and manage the relationship between the site and its neighbours with care.
The social value of employment extends beyond creating jobs. Fair working conditions, skill development, knowledge sharing and worker safety are also part of that value.
02
Cultural heritage and future generations
Arazyol undertook historic bridge restorations concerned with conserving cultural heritage. Work at Hanmahmut, Tohumoğlu and Meryem Ana bridges addressed structures carrying local history and identity alongside their technical function.
Our social responsibility approach draws on this experience to emphasise respect for cultural values and consideration of future users. We aim to consider responsibility to future generations through a structure’s use, its surroundings and its relationship with the community.
