Engineering experience. A sense of responsibility.

Arazyol developed experience in highways, tunnels, bridges, settlement infrastructure and heritage restoration. Work across different ground conditions and uses shaped the company’s engineering background.

About us

Araz Yol Yapı A.Ş. worked across engineering disciplines ranging from transport structures to urban infrastructure. Highway construction, tunnels, bridge and viaduct strengthening, historic bridge restoration, housing and landscaping formed the main areas of this experience. Its work brought new construction together with the conservation and improvement of existing structures.

On the Van–Başkale Güzeldere, Bitlis–Baykan and Yüksekova–Dağlıca routes, road formation, civil structures and transport links were addressed together. The Bahçesaray snow gallery added experience in protective structures designed for snow and avalanche hazards. Bridge and viaduct works in Istanbul covered repair and seismic strengthening of existing transport structures.

Following the Van earthquake, work in Kalecik and Edremit included housing, schools and community buildings, drinking-water and sewer networks, roads and landscaping. Mechanical and automation works at the Edremit treatment plant complemented this scope. Landscaping and stage works at Van Atatürk Culture Park were among the company’s public-space projects.

Arazyol’s historic bridge restorations involved structures carrying the construction techniques of their periods and the identity of their surroundings. Work completed at Hanmahmut, Tohumoğlu, Meryem Ana and Görümlü bridges formed part of this experience. Restoration brought a distinct engineering responsibility: understanding an existing structure and treating its original character with care.

Kori Road, completed in the Erbil region of Iraq, formed part of Arazyol’s road-building experience outside Türkiye. Together with mountain passes, divided roads and settlement connections in Türkiye, it broadened the company’s experience of transport projects in different geographical conditions.

These works shared the need to consider each structure’s purpose within its site conditions. The different technical demands of roads, tunnels, strengthening and infrastructure highlighted the relationship between planning, workmanship, materials and site organisation. Arazyol’s engineering background took shape through experience in these varied fields.

Our mission

Our mission is to turn engineering knowledge into reliable, functional structures and infrastructure that benefit society. We place importance on planning for intended use, careful resource management and traceable construction quality.

Recognising that roads serve users, infrastructure serves communities and buildings serve people, we aim to consider technical requirements, worker safety and environmental responsibility together. We seek efficiency through sound preparation, clear responsibilities and less avoidable rework.

03

Our vision

Our vision is to advance as a company that continually develops its engineering competence, turns experience into shared knowledge and earns trust through the quality of its work. We consider growth alongside technical capability, construction discipline and long-term organisational continuity.

We aim to assess the practical contribution of new materials, methods and digital tools while addressing each project in its own terrain, use and maintenance conditions. Our goal is lasting value and engineering quality that can be sustained over time.

04

Our values

Honesty and reliability rest on accurate information and commitments that can be fulfilled. Technical competence requires not only experience but also calculation, verification and a willingness to reassess. Transparency makes responsibilities and the reasons behind decisions understandable to the relevant parties.

Discipline and teamwork reinforce each other. Different specialisms can work towards a common objective through clear communication, understood authority and attention to site feedback. Quality, respect for employees and care for resources are the shared focus of our values.

05

Our engineering approach

Our engineering approach begins with understanding the scope, ground conditions, technical requirements and sequence of work before construction starts. A clear relationship between design and site work requires critical activities, material needs and inspection points to be identified in the plan.

Measurement, material conformity, workmanship and inspection of completed work should form a connected process. Consistent site records, investigation of non-conformities and verification of corrections provide a foundation for organisational learning.

The goal of durable infrastructure requires attention to service conditions, maintenance access and the surrounding environment as well as initial construction. Planning people, equipment and materials should consider time, quality, safety and environmental effects together.

06

Looking ahead

Our outlook combines learning from past projects with openness to new needs. Keeping knowledge accessible, maintaining usable records and sharing experience across teams support continuity beyond individual people.

Innovation is more than adopting a new tool. More accurate measurement, better planning, earlier detection of errors and more careful resource use are also forms of technical progress. Responsibility to future generations begins with considering how today’s decisions affect a structure’s service life and surroundings.
